  • Position: Cloud Architect
  • Location: Qatar
  • Experience: 5 Years

Experience

  • Five years’ experience in Azure Cloud management
  • Three years’ experience in Google Cloud management
  • Three years’ experience in Cloud Virtualization management and High availability management

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the entire project lifecycle, from concept to completion.
  • Manages vendors, develops project plans, and ensures client satisfaction.
  • Implements and maintains venue technology systems.
  • Identifies new technologies and manages project teams.
  • Reports progress to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., computer engineering, electrical engineering) or a related field like computer science
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect
  • Cloud Computing Professional (CCP) from the Cloud Credential Council (CCC)
  • Microsoft Enterprise systems
  • Microsoft and Google Cloud administration
  •  Azure and Google Native Security and Network services

Job Requirements

  • Compute: VMs (Virtual Machines) for workload isolation & scalability.
  • Storage: Managed disks for performance & object storage for large data.
  • Networking: Virtual Networks for secure communication and load balancers for high availability.
  • Databases: Managed Database service (e.g., Azure SQL Database, GCP Cloud SQL) for ease of use and scalability.
  • Use ARM templates (Azure) or Deployment Manager (GCP) for infrastructure automation.
  • Access Control (IAM): Grant least privilege access to resources.
  • Encryption: Encrypt data at rest and in transit.
  • Compliance: Meet industry regulations and data privacy laws.
  • Monitor performance & health for proactive issue identification.
  • Automate routine tasks for efficiency.
  • Autoscale VMs based on demand.
  • Use cost-effective storage options based on data access needs.
