We Are Hiring: Network Technician!

Do you have a passion for IT and a knack for solving problems? We’re looking for a skilled Network Technician to join our team! You’ll be responsible for keeping our network running smoothly, from installation and maintenance to troubleshooting and repair.

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Three-year Diploma or bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
  • Education background in information technology or telecommunication is preferred.
  • Fiber and Wire Cabling Network Certification is preferred.
  • CompTIA Network+ certification, BICSI ICT Cabling Installation Certifications, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Cisco Certified Technician, CCNA, and Panduit Certified Installer are preferred.

Job Specific Technical Skills

  • Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing UTP, FOC, multi-core, and LAN cabling solutions.
  • Capability to design network cabling layouts, including event-specific installations.
  • Able to perform site inspections and provide reports with BOQ.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Technician Passive.
  • In-depth understanding of UTP, FOC, multi-core cabling, LAN cabling solutions, and network cabling standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment for cabling installations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Clear communication skills for conveying technical information.
  • Professional interaction with clients and effective teamwork for project collaboration.
  • Understanding of complete BOQ of Passive network including Racks, UPS, cable management, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Install, maintain, and repair network cabling systems and components, including UTP, FOC, multi-core cabling, and LAN cabling solutions.
  • Design network cabling layouts, including event-specific overlays.
  • Conduct site inspections and create detailed reports and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Manage network component inventory.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
  • Mount and patch active devices over the passive network.
  • Use various passive network tools and equipment such as cable testers, crimpers, and fluke testers.
  • Ensure clear communication of technical information.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team on projects.
  • Maintain professional interactions with clients.
  • Adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Experience in event/stadium network is a plus.
