  • Position: ICT Asset Management Analyst
  • Location: Qatar
  • Experience: 3–5 years

Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in the same field, preferably with multicultural corporations/organizations. 1 year should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Previous experience in IT service desk, Operation Support
  • Well exposed to industry standards and best practices in IT Asset and configuration management, service quality

Responsibilities

  • Track IT assets (purchase to disposal)
  • Manage licenses, warranties & maintenance contracts.
  • Conduct IT asset inventory & monitor usage.
  • Communicate IT asset management strategies
  • Optimize IT asset utilization
  • Perform IT asset audits & make informed decisions.
  • Generate IT asset management reports.
  • Research best practices for IT asset management.
  • Manage service assets & ensure their integrity.
  • Coordinate with change/release management & vendors.
  • Manage printing services & IT asset documentation.
  • Resolve IT asset management issues.
  • Supervise IT asset management staff.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified to degree level in a computing related subject.

  • Substantial experience in computing or information technology.

  • ITIL Service Management qualification

  • Working knowledge on Hardware, Software and Network

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills are essential.

  • Persuasive and assertive with the ability to change behavior to ensure the optimum utilization of IT resources.

  • Customer service attitudes skills

  • Multi-tasking skills and the ability to organize competing priorities.

  • Preparing and understanding written materials

Job Requirements

  • Oversee the long-term plan for software and technology-related hardware within AZF/SFM.
  • Plan, monitor, and record software licenses.
  • Ensure hardware assets comply with policy and procedure.
  • Identify service assets and configuration items.
  • Control, record, report, audit, and verify these items.
  • Track versions, baselines, constituent components, attributes, and relationships.
