• Experience: 8 Years

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (some prefer Associate’s degree)
• Experience with mechanics, ideally diesel engines (2-4 years preferred)
• Ability to diagnose vehicle problems (electrical & mechanical)
• Knowledge of heavy truck systems (brakes, engines, etc.)
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Inspect heavy-duty vehicles (trucks, buses, and vans) for issues.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair parts.
• Communicate with drivers and advisors about repairs and costs.
• Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Stay updated on industry advancements through training.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper function and safety.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs.
• Manage parts inventory to keep repairs running smoothly.
